Hotel Boruca Tamarindo

The hotel had a fantastic location, just a quick 5-minute walk to the beach, super convenient for beach days. I loved the outdoor common area. It provided a nice, private feel to relax. The pool area was beautifully designed, perfect for soaking in the sun. The breakfast options were varied and delicious, made even better by the lovely staff who kept the atmosphere cheerful. It was a pleasant surprise to enjoy breakfast outside while watching iguanas and monkeys around. The room was clean and cozy with good air conditioning, a blessing after long days in the heat. I did notice that some furniture felt a bit run down, and the room was smaller than I expected. There were no mosquito nets on the windows in our room, a slight concern. Maintenance was readily available, but I would have appreciated a bit more attention to the furniture condition.

I would stay here again, enjoyed granola, fruit, and omelette early in the morning. Make sure you stay in the standard double room with clean sheets. The price is just right - gbp 94. The location is great and good and the staff is really kind😃

Everything about this charming small hotel was great! It was in a great and good location next to Tamarindo as well as cafes. Truly enjoyed climate control and television in the room. The breakfast was delicious with a huge variety of food, everybody can choose.

The cleanliness of the hotel needs attention!!! Grubby walls, dark rooms, and uncomfortable furniture show a lack of investment!!! Showers could use better water pressure!!! Mosquito nets would enhance comfort!!!

the location is great, right by buzzing tamarindo and restaurants and cafes, you cannot beat it. there is la bodega nearby for a cup of coffee.

All the employees were superfriendly and polite.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, made our stay enjoyable with their assistance and cute attitude, and we appreciated the convenient location just 200 meters from the beach and restaurants, making it easy for our family to explore the area during our short visit.
